Tina DeJarld - Partner, Production, Pre-press
Tina DeJarld has been involved in design and publishing technology since the beginning of DTP, working in production as a PostScript output operator and becoming an expert troubleshooter. Her background includes pre-press, print production, page layout and production management.
For 10 years she was technology manager at InfoComm, one of the premier pre-press service bureaus in Chicago, reviewing and implementing the ever-changing array of hardware, software and production systems, training staff and managing the production workflow. Tina has also been a working member of the Professional Pre-press Association (PPA).
Her savvy problem-solving ability combined with her expert knowledge of hardware and software for design, printing and publishing has earned her the title of “the answer lady” from her customers and employers. Additionally, Tina has excellent working relationships with many service techs, vendors and technical support professionals.
Her recent speaking engagements on print production and pre-press include the Folio Show in October 2006 in NYC, and the InDesign User Group in Chicago in March 2007.
Tina holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the Art Institute of Chicago.
